Why 1984?
Hi buddy! 1984 ...it's a book by George Orwell..a classic of all times. I would say it's a candle which would let one see beyond the layers of abstractions, and see how we are living with terms like newspeak, doublethink et. al. Ya it decries communism but I look at it with a perspective which makes me think that it's the way we live, illusioned with information that is changed at the strokes of our whims and needs. And we change history, we change lenses and impose them, we force upon us various perspectives. All of us are trapped but who is this 'Big Brother' who is leading us astray from reality. It's not a person, it's a thought process. "How would we get out of its shackles ?", is a matter of our enlightened selves and a big Question. But its realisation chokes me deep down my existence and i think it's better to remain blind. So I close my eyes and I say, "I love Bog Brother". Catch it smtime and find for urself.....1984 and why 1984?
